Jodi Sugar is a photographer living in Northern Israel who shares a passion for photography and the Holy Land. 
 

Whether bringing Israel’s landscape to life for her audience, or arranging a novel composition on a newborn shot or leaving her customers with a memorable photo album of their cherished life cycle event, Jodi knows how to capture the essence of her subjects. 

The newborn photography is the latest in her repertoire, already gaining rave reviews in this milieu due to her patience, artistic eye and love of children. But her original passion and forte goes back to 1991 when she began to focus her lens on the people and places of Israel. 

 

Israel Photo Art is a collection of photos that she took during the last 30 years.  Jerusalem's Jewish Quarter was her beloved home for five years.  She likes to call it G-d's backyard. Exciting events unfolded first hand, like when the Ethiopians visited the Western Wall for the first time. 

Safed is her current home & inspiration. Surrounded by majestic mountains, cobblestones streets of the mystical, ancient old city and spectacular sunsets she never tires of photographing Israel!  Jodi is an avid hiker and adventurer and she's constantly on the lookout for unexplored territory for her annual Israel Photo Art calendar,  to connect you, body and soul,  every month to the Land of Israel.

Throughout the site you will find the beauty of Israel in the form of notecards, photos matted and framed and canvas prints that look like paintings.
